Interpeace

The Academy for Peace and Development is an affiliate of » Interpeace (formerly War-torn Societies Project International, WSP) and enjoys linkages with other members of the Interpeace family in Eritrea, Guatemala, Mozambique and Somalia (Southern Somalia and Puntland).

UNICEF

The Academy is a partner of UNICEF in an ongoing efforts to ensure that Local Governance contributes to peace and equitable periority service delivery in six Somaliland's districts as a part of United Nations Joint Program for Local Governance and Decentralized Service Delivery (JPLG)

UN-Habitat

UN-Habitat and the Academy have been in partnership with the Academy from October 2009 upto January 2010 with the objective to train local councilors of six target towns in coflict managment.

Somaliland Universities

The Academy enjoys close relations with the Universities of Amoud and Hargeisa, and envisions for partnerships with both in the future.

Institute for Development and Peace (INEF)

The Academy is a partner of the » Institute for Development and Peace (INEF), University of Duisburg-Essen, in the » Capacity Building and Land Conflicts Project, funded by the German Institute for Foreign Relations (ifa) under a grant from the German Foreign Office.
