• Research includes multi-year participatory action research programmes on selected entry points.

• Dialogue involves public forums and behind the scenes facilitation, using the Academy's neutral space.

• Documentation & Publication embraces documentary films produced by the Audio-visual Unit, APD's own publications, as well as a documentation center.

• Training includes: training local councillors on good governance, land management and revenue collection; training the youth and women groups on their peaceful participation in the process of democratic transformation; training for traditional leaders on coping with the various aspects of societal transformation including the management of land-based conflicts.
